Classes are focused on American language, business, and culture, and can be structured to fit almost any budget and schedule.  Classes can range from an hour a day to 30 hours per week.  Business and government site visits are usually part of the curriculum, and Utah is a great place to do business and to find successful businesses.

Business Skills (2 hours)~Culture and communication skills focusing on the language of presentations, social situations, and meetings.  (Including: short presentations, opening and closing meetings, making small talk, and presenting arguments) Company Visits*~Visits to local businesses or educational facilities of interest to client. (Time and date may vary)

11:20 - 12:20

Conversation and Business Idioms~Listening, speaking, and vocabulary skills in everyday conversation and in business situations (Including: using the telephone, speaking in formal and informal situations, and understanding business jargon)

12:30 - 1:30

LUNCH (Free Time)

1:40 - 2:40

Reading and Current Events~Discussion of current events, fluency development and vocabulary review. (Including: reading newspaper or Internet articles)

2:50 - 3:50

Pronunciation Focus~Pronunciation lectures and practice focusing on English pronunciation problems difficult for Asian speakers.  (Including: /r/, /l/, /th/, /v/, and intonation.  These lessons will be tailored to the specific client’s needs.)

4:00 - 5:00

Grammar~Grammar lectures and discussions focusing on English language problems difficult for Asian speakers.  (Including: modals, tenses, phrasal verbs and prepositions, subordinate clauses, and articles)
